Practice Guidelines

Be consistent with your attendance. If you must be absent, please let the coach know before practice.

Be prompt! If, for example, practice is scheduled at 4:00 PM., be there at 3:45 PM to dress. Your personal and team improvement depends on your promptness. If you must be late or leave early, make these arrangements with the coach before practice.

At each practice, swimmers should have suits, caps, goggles, and other equipment as directed by the coach. It is highly recommended that swimmers bring extra suits and goggles.

Practice is the time for personal and team improvement. Actions that disrupt or interfere with the quality of the swimmer’s practice and/or of teammates will be dealt with by removing the offenders from the water. Swimmers will remain in the pool area spending the remainder of the time observing practice.

Pool rules and policies must be observed at all times. Any person(s) not observing the pool rules and policies nor respecting the rights of the other users will be dealt with as described above.

Parents are not allowed on the pool deck during practice so that the swimmers may focus on their work with their coach.  If you have questions, concerns or need to talk to the coach, call him or her at home or talk to the coach before or after practice. Please do not have your child ask questions for you. The line of communication between parent and coach should be direct.
